Misuse of Firm Name

Crawford Investment Counsel has received reports of Internet based scams using our name and logo without authorization and seeking to collect confidential personal and financial information related to timeshare properties, other real estate holdings, and/or vacation or reward “points.”   We have reported these events to the authorities and our attorneys have also demanded that all unauthorized use of our name and logo be discontinued immediately.

These email based scams, often referred to as “phishing,” use emails and letters that may look as if they come from Crawford Investment Counsel.  However, Crawford Investment Counsel does not have offices outside of the U.S. and we are not involved in sales or transfers of timeshare properties or vacation or reward points.  As with any Internet based offers and transactions, we urge you to exercise caution when reviewing and responding to unsolicited emails and/or sales calls.
